The Tatum family, consisting of Jeremiah, Amber, Luke, Daniel and Lyssa, is proud of their heritage of faith. They want others to share in that blessing. The Tatums live in Cookeville, Tennessee, where they work with the Willow Avenue church of Christ.

As the pulpit minister, Jeremiah makes full use of his Master of Ministry degree from Freed-Hardeman University. Originally from California, Jeremiah is the grandson of missionary grandparents and the son of Godly, faithful parents. Jeremiah holds gospel meetings all over the country and has done mission work around the globe. Jeremiah has been published in several brotherhood periodicals, and has spoken on several Christian university and church lectureships. Along with sermons, he spends time preparing Bible lessons and radio programs as well as reaching out to countless people with Bible studies and benevolence help. Jeremiah is an avid runner and has qualified for the Boston Marathon in 2015!

Amber loves being a preacher’s wife and mother to three beautiful children. She works at her children’s elementary school as the reading interventionist where she gets to help students who struggle in that area. Amber divides her time at Willow Avenue between coaching Lads to Leaders and Bible Bowl and teaching ladies class. She has been published in Christian Woman magazine and speaks at ladies’ days and retreats. In “spare” time, Amber loves to read, host friends and do yard work.

Luke is our 13-year-old musician and scholar. He regularly participates in youth group activities, including Lads to Leaders and Bible Bowl. He plays piano and trombone and excels in school, planning to tackle 2 high school courses this year in eighth grade. He is a fantastic big brother and son.

Our 10-year-old son Daniel, has a memory the whole family envies. He is currently interested in chess and knows more about the kings of Judah than most adults. Daniel also enjoys a good joke and his giggle is contagious. With a mild form of Asperger’s syndrome, Daniel helps us all focus on overcoming challenges with a good attitude and God’s help.

Lyssabeth Grace completed our family almost 7 years ago. She is a bundle of energy with a giving heart. She is also the athlete and animal lover of the family. Most often, you can find Lyssa playing with or singing to her puppy.
