Adam, Leah, Mary Carol, and Turner Faughn live in Paducah, Kentucky. Adam and Leah have been married since 1999. A family that desires to follow God and help other families do the same, here is a little more about them.

Adam is the pulpit minister for the Central Church of Christ in Paducah, Kentucky. He grew up in Dexter, Missouri and is a graduate of Freed-Hardeman University in Henderson, Tennessee. There, he received a B.A. degree in history and a Masters of Ministry. Adam is the author of several books and eBooks, and has also been published in the Gospel Advocate, Kaio, and Think magazines on several occasions. He enjoys reading, listening to podcasts and music, March Madness, and (most of all) being with his family. He may or may not have a huge One-Hit Wonder station on Spotify.

Leah stays busy being a preacher’s wife and mother of two. Much of her time is spent homeschooling her two children. In addition, Leah teaches regularly in the Bible school program and Vacation Bible School programs at church. Leah is a graduate of Freed-Hardeman University, where she earned a degree in Elementary Education.  She grew up near Jasper, Alabama at the Blackwater-Macedonia church of Christ, where her dad served for many years as an elder and her mom regularly teaches in the Bible school program. Leah enjoys reading and showing hospitality. She is also possibly addicted to Pinterest.

Mary Carol is our adopted treasure, and is in the 7th grade. She loves reading and being a “mommy” to anyone who happens to be near. She also enjoys learning Bible facts, and says her favorite story is Queen Esther. In October of 2016, Mary Carol made the biggest decision of her life, when she put Christ on in baptism.

Turner is our surprise gift from God, and he is in 6th grade. He loves music, art, playing outside, eating, and science. He also enjoys Bible class and says his favorite story is Daniel and the Lions’ Den.
